The 88th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Takaishi Akari, was broadcast on February 4th, and viewers were drawn to the final scene, in which the situation took a sudden turn.
After Kajitani's (Iwasaki Udai) article was published, Toki (Takaishi) was mistaken for a raschamen by the people of Matsue. He continued to be harassed, with garbage being thrown onto his property, but worried Sawa (Marui Wan) and Yanami (Sato Honami) rushed to cheer Toki up, and the depressed Toki's smile returned.
Heaven (Tommy Bastow), who saw this, was touched by the warmth of the people, saying, "Matsue... what a wonderful town," and "I still love you." However, the harassment continued every day, and there was no sign of the commotion subsiding.
One day, Heaven comes out the front door and finds no trash there, muttering, "Nothing..." Fumi (Ikewaki Chizuru) is surprised and exclaims, "Huh? It's clean," and Toki also exclaims, "What?"
The harassment stops abruptly at the end, leading to comments on social media such as, "What happened at the end?", "How could it end so suddenly...? That's actually scary," "Is it over...?", "It's a mystery," "Maybe Kajitani wrote a correction?", "Has the public's target changed?", and "Do rumors about people only last for 75 days? Or was there some other force at work?"
