The TV anime "The Strongest Dregs Prince's Covert Struggle for the Throne," based on a popular light novel from the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from 8:57 PM on July 6th. A key visual has been released featuring Arnold, the "strongest dregs prince" who pretends to be incompetent, his twin brother Leonard, and the brothers supported by Fine, Erna, and Linfia. A second promotional video featuring Arnold and others has also been released on YouTube.
The artists who will be performing the theme songs have also been announced. It has been revealed that the dance vocal group "BUDDiiS" will be performing the opening theme "Script," and the idol group "Kurawan" will be performing the ending theme "Suteki na Kanchigai."

"The Strongest Dried-Up Prince's Covert Struggle for the Throne" is a light novel written by Tamba and illustrated by Yuunagi. Arnold, the seventh prince of the powerful Ardrasia Empire, was known as the "dried-up prince" because his twin brother, Leonard, was so talented that he had sucked everything out of him. However, with the sudden death of the first prince, the struggle for the throne intensifies, and Arnold decides to get serious. On the public stage, he plays the role of an incompetent dried-up prince, but behind the scenes, he operates with overwhelming power as "Silver," one of only five SS-rank adventurers on the continent, and controls the struggle for the throne from the shadows. The light novel is published by Sneaker Bunko (KADOKAWA), and the manga adaptation is also popular. The series has sold over 1.8 million copies in total.
The film will be directed by Yuji Yanase, known for works such as "The Man Picked Up by the Gods," and produced by MAHO FILM, known for works such as "The Blue Wolves of Mibu."
