The variety show "Kaiun! Nandemo Kanteidan" (TV Tokyo, Tuesdays at 8:54 PM), hosted by talent Koji Imada, freelance announcer Akira Fukuzawa, and former Sakurazaka46 member Yuka Sugai, will feature "documents of Hideyoshi's wife, Nene" as its "treasure" on Getsuku.
The client recently began cleaning out their family home and discovered a bundle of old documents packed in a cardboard box in the closet. Among them was a treasure: a document belonging to Nene, the wife of Hideyoshi. The client said that while Hideyoshi's treasures are often found on the appraisal show, Nene's are rarely seen, so they are hoping that this might be something valuable.
The preview introduces the story with the tagline, "A historical discovery! A letter from Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wife, Nene, was found in a closet at her family home!" and "What does it say about how she supported the ruler of Japan?"
