It was revealed on May 24th that the final season of the NHK BS historical drama " Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin, " starring actress Fuka Koshiba , will air in the winter of 2026. The final season will depict what happens after the conclusion of season 3, which aired its final episode on the same day, and is expected to be a moving finale.
" Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin" is a series set in the mid-Edo period that vividly and cheerfully depicts the lives of ordinary people who succeed in business through hard work and ingenuity, interwoven with a variety of customs and traditions. Season 1 aired in 2023, and Season 2 aired in 2025.
Season 3, which started in April, depicted how Sachi (Koshiba) defeated Masugoya (Takashima Masanobu) and restored the usual hustle and bustle to the Gosuzuya Edo store, while also knowing Kensuke's feelings and deciding to let him succeed as the 9th generation owner for the sake of Gosuzuya.
The final installment is based on Iku Takada's original "Special Edition Volumes 1 & 2" and tells the story of Sachi and Kensuke afterward as they work to make Gosuzuya a store that will last for 100 years. It also depicts Souji's (Shigeaki Kato) feelings, the love of Sasuke (Yo Aoi), the manager of the Edo main store, what happened to Osugi (Reika Onishi) after she left Souji, and the long-cherished wish of the 8th generation owner, Shusuke (Yuki Izumisawa).
The relationship between Sachi and her younger sister, Yui (played by Itsuki Nagasawa), and Yui's life after being banished from Edo will also be revealed.

You have been able to watch Sachi and the growth of Gosuzuya over three seasons, but this time, as befits a final chapter, I hope you will be able to see what happens to Yui afterwards, the outcome of their love, and other human dramas that are a little different from business.
