Stills from the first episode, "She's a Killer Queen," of the TV anime "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE (Nidiga)," based on a popular video game, have been released. The images depict the chaotic Ten-chan, the up-and-coming streaming unit Karamazov, and Kache working at a concept cafe.
The "Ame-chan ver." of this visual, as well as the "SECRET.PV" PV which focuses on Ame-chan, have also been released.
It was also announced that "Nidiga Plus," a four-panel manga by Kokamumo that ties in with the TV anime, will be serialized on the official social media accounts starting April 5th.
As a special bonus for attendees during the fifth week of the theatrical release of "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE -OVERTURE-", a "Special Illustration Card (Illustration: Character Designer - It's Been a Long Time No See)" featuring the characters will be distributed starting April 4th.
"NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE" is a multi-ending adventure game depicting 30 days in the life of a girl with a strong desire for recognition who aims to become the strongest streamer, and "Pi," who supports her. It was released on Steam in January 2022 and has recorded approximately 3 million downloads. Related songs have been played over 400 million times, demonstrating its popularity. The anime is being produced by Yostar Pictures, known for works such as "Arknights" and "Blue Archive." It will air on TOKYO MX and other channels starting at 12:30 AM on April 4th.
