The second part of the spin-off episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8am, etc.), starring Akari Takaishi , titled "Osawa, Suitchon," aired on March 31st, revealing the reason why Shoda ( Shogo Hama) gave Sawa (Wan Marui) a book in German, which became a hot topic among viewers.
The spin-off tells the untold stories of the people surrounding Toki (Takaishi) and Heaven (Tommy Bastow), which were not depicted in the main story. "Osawa, Swee-chan." focuses on Sawa and Shoda after Toki and Heaven go to Kumamoto.
Thanks to Nishikori's (Ryo Yoshizawa) arrangements, the teachers begin a big clean-up of the school. Tsuchie (Baku Shigeoka) and Kadowaki (Yo Yoshida), who have come to help, try to use this opportunity to bring Sawa and Shoda closer together. However, Sawa and Shoda are completely oblivious to the intentions of those around them. They each try to start cleaning on their own, causing Tsuchie and Kadowaki to panic.
Meanwhile, Sawa confides her frustrations about Shoda to Ume (Maru Nouchi), who has brought her food. Ume then asks, "Do you still like Shoda?" to which Sawa replies, "It's too late now... I can't say it." Sawa says that she will never be able to catch up to Shoda, who has become the principal, and Ume says, "I don't really understand... but if you like him, then it's okay to like him."
When Sawa returned to the classroom, she found Shoda continuing to clean alone. Sawa told him that she had read a little of the German book he had given her, but she didn't understand the content. Shoda apologized, saying, "I'm sorry," and then revealed the reason he had given her the book, saying, "Actually... I wanted you to come and ask me."
When Sawa then asked if he also gives books to students, Shoda replied, "I often lend them out, but you're probably the only one I've given them to." When Sawa said, "Well then... could you teach me German sometime?", Shoda replied, "Anytime."
On social media, comments included: "I can't stop grinning," "It's like a shojo manga," "Shoda deliberately gave her a German book lol, so clumsy it's cute," "It's really making my heart flutter...!", "I gasped when Shoda said, 'I wanted you to come and listen'," "It's so pure it's like a first love between elementary school kids, and it's frustrating," "I feel happy thinking that they'll continue to have such cute exchanges even after they become a married couple," and "I want to see more spin-offs from here!"
