It has been announced that characters from Yuto Suzuki's popular manga "SAKAMOTO DAYS," currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), including Taro Sakamoto, will appear on the cover of the Getsuku . The cover illustration has been released and depicts Sakamoto, Shin Asakura, and others enjoying a drive.
This issue features actor Fumiya Takahashi, who plays Shin Asakura, to commemorate the April 29th release of the live-action film "SAKAMOTO DAYS." It comes with a sticker featuring illustrations from the original manga. The special edition also includes a limited-edition bonus: mini acrylic stands (4 types in total) of Taro Sakamoto, Shin Asakura, Yoichi Nagumo, and Kamigami & Oobutsu.
The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman who runs a shop after retirement, as he fights against pursuing assassins alongside his companions to protect the peaceful daily life he shares with his beloved family. The series has gained popularity for its spectacular battle scenes featuring unique characters.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2025, and the second season aired from July to September of the same year. Production of a second season has also been confirmed.
