It has been revealed that actress Rei Shirakawa, the second daughter of former sumo wrestler and yokozuna Takanohana Koji and former Fuji TV announcer Kono Keiko, joined Toho Entertainment on November 1st.
Shirakawa commented, "I have recently joined Toho Entertainment. With gratitude in my heart to all the people who have supported me in this environment, I will continue to work hard to grow as a person, taking on each and every job, including acting, with sincerity. I look forward to your continued support!"
Shirakawa is 23 years old and was born on April 18, 2002 in Tokyo. In 2024, she made her first regular appearance in a TV drama series, "1000 Konkatsu Knocks" (Fuji TV).
