TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appearing! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturdays at 9pm) will feature Shirokanedai (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on its November 1st broadcast.
In the 1990s, the term "Shiroganese," referring to sophisticated, wealthy women, became popular in Shirokanedai. It was coined by a women's fashion magazine. The show introduces "hidden gems" frequented by foodies and everyday gourmet food, and regular guest Goro Yamada also provides on-site commentary on famous Shirokanedai architecture.
In the gourmet section, we will introduce the seasonal soup and cheese bread that has long lines, the home-style restaurant frequented by the MC of ``Oha-Suta,'' the fiercely competitive Italian and French restaurant district frequented by gourmets, the famous soba restaurant ``Kamo Seiro,'' and the famous yakiniku restaurant ``Atsuro'' in the gourmet building.
In addition, we will cover the latest Shiroganese fashion, a paradise for plants and animals in the city, and original rug making, which is popular in residential areas.
The guests are actor Mao Daichi and Emiko Kawamura from the comedy duo "Tanpopo."
